Purchase Order General Terms and Conditions
The following terms and conditions govern all purchase orders initiated by ForTrade International. Acknowledgment of the purchase order or fulfillment of any part of the purchase order will constitute acceptance by the supplier of all terms and conditions referenced in this document, where applicable.
- Unless otherwise agreed, all materials delivered shall be subject to final inspection and approval by ForTrade within a reasonable time after receipt at destination. If specifications are not met, materials may be returned at Supplier’s expense.
- All work shall be accomplished in a professional, workmanlike manner by qualified, efficient, and careful personnel using pertinent, scientific and technical procedures, practices and standards.
- All Suppliers shall be responsible for maintaining a documented quality management system.
- Material delivered shall correspond to the part number indicated on ForTrade’s Purchase Order and shall conform to any and all applicable specifications, drawings and standards.
- No material shall be shipped under any Purchase Order which deviates from applicable drawings or specifications.
- Supplier shall notify ForTrade of any significant change to the contracted product before delivery. ForTrade reserves the right to cancel a Purchase Order due to design change.
- Right of access to the Supplier’s production facilities, warehouses, and other facilities involved in the fulfillment of the Purchase Order, and all applicable records, are reserved by ForTrade, its customers, and any applicable regulatory authorities, where appropriate.
- Manufacturer and Supplier Certifications, FAA 8130-3 Airworthiness Documents, and other document requirements shall be clearly stated on ForTrade’s purchase order. Acceptance of the Purchase Order indicates the Supplier shall provide any and all certifications as described on the Purchase Order.
